I rush past the bus driver
I rush through the door
I rush through the front gate
I rush past my wagging pug
I rash through the hallway
I don’t see my mom
I don’t even say “hi mom”
I don’t see anything
I don’t hear anything
I’m not interested even in my iPad
I don’t even want ice cream
I don’t even want my chocolate milk
I open the door
I look in the mirror
I see it
I look at it
Woosh woosh
howa howa
grr grr
boom boom
ha ha
hi hi
ho ho
my socks, my socks
my pile of socks is there
they are here
nobody took them away
not even the mom that
has the good habit to trow them
in
the washing mashine
sometimes.

Note to the reader:
Gabi loves his socks so much that he collects all the socks in the house and puts them in a pile in the middle of his room.
Sometimes he plays make believe games and stories putting up a “one man show”. He puts them up on his hands and uses them like puppets.
